Community Transit and the City of Bothell have partnered to provide free ORCA transit passes to employees in Canyon Park, many of whom work for small businesses without access to transit benefits. Funded through a Regional Mobility Grant and Community Transit’s budget, the pilot has already distributed passes to more than 800 employees.
This session will explore how the program was developed, lessons learned from working with small employers, and early impacts on travel behavior. Attendees will gain insights into how partnerships and targeted funding can expand transit access, advance equity, and support TDM goals in employment centers where large-scale programs may not be feasible.
