Why "How a Great City Moves"?

This year’s WSRO conference theme “How a Great City Moves” was graciously loaned to us by the amazing folks at Spokane Transit. Spokane Transit embraced this motto some time ago and it has carried them into today! “It means creating a vision for the future, and the strategies to achieve it. In everything we do we drive for excellence.”- STA

Helping cities and communities move effectively is a main part of TDM and CTR and so is helping the environment by reducing congestion and improving air quality! 2024 also marks the 50th anniversary of EXPO 74, the first environmentally themed world's fair held in Spokane WA.

Join us as we get inspired by amazing presenters and great panelists, learn about events and news within the TDM/CTR world, network and exchange ideas with peers, and celebrate the idea that when we work together and act as one community we can help improve transportation and the environment and truly see “How a Great City Moves!”

Special thanks to Spokane Transit!

Special thanks to our supporting partner!

The Washington State Department of Transportation partners with cities, counties, and community partners to advance Transportation Demand Management programs. We are proud supporters of the Washington State Ridesharing Organization in creating a safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation system.
